Oct 21 2024 Meeting
We started talking about the combinatorics set from last week:
We also did Warmup 4 and 11, respectively.

We reviewed a few problems today and then played Numbercruncher! Thank you everyone for playing! We can continue to play at home in single or multiplayer mode.
I returned previous week's warmup sets; please work on this week's set at home and bring it completed to next week's meeting.
We talked about linear equations today.
We also did another Warmup Set. I gave some students a harder set today based on how well they did on the previous set. I'll continue to adjust to make sure every student meets an appropriate level of challenge while also allowing us to prepare as a team. I'm glad that every student worked independently today.
I can't post the warmup sets publicly due to copyright restrictions; but if you're interested in doing some upsolving over the week, use the site password:

Algebra:

The topic of the meeting was divisor counting, divisor sum, and Euler's Phi.
We did our first warmups today. These warmups will work as follows. I will choose a level of difficulty based on how well you did on your previous one. If you solve 5 or more problems, I'll count it as one point towards qualification for the team/chapter contest. You may choose to not work independently (discuss it with your neighbor), but then I will not count it.
